Nishad George is an Indian heavy metal/hard rock guitarist from the San Francisco Bay Area in Northern California born in September 1992. He studied at Berklee College of Music in Boston on scholarship. Originally a classically trained guitarist, he studied under John McRae, a former student of the world renowned Christopher Parkening. He switched interest to playing heavy metal at age 10, and has studied under Joe Stump, the current guitarist for HolyHell. He is known for his work with Carnatic music and the fusion of the genre with heavy metal with skill at a young age. He has noted that he is inspired by guitarists Steve Vai and Alexi Laiho. Nishad played the Blooms Festival in Thrissur in Kerala in June 2009 and returned once again in June 2011 with a different lineup. In 2013 Nishad began playing guitar as a member of punk band FALL RISK. Nishad appeared on their 2013 single, "The Prestige." He would also contribute to their 2014 release, "The Circle - EP," produced by Give Up The Ghost and Bloodhorse drummer Alex Garcia-Rivera. He left the band shortly after the promotion cycle for The Circle - EP. Fall Risk would move forward with their following release, "Sleeplessness - EP," as a 2 piece. In March 2015, Nishad released his debut solo album, "Indivisible Devils."
