There are times fate, chance and God given talent conjoin exactly at the right moment to form extraordinary results. No one knows this better nor has used this to his advantage more than MC, songwriter and entrepreneur Niko Villamor (Dominic Sterling Villamor). The way Niko attacks sonic landscapes by unleashing a urry of clever metaphors and playful similes with a conversational ow into a single verse; one would think the young artist was piecing together rhyming words as soon as he could speak. While this is not the case with Niko, his veteran knowledge combined with his youthful hunger certainly has put him on the fast track to be the reigning champ amongst the crop of new MCs. Born in Berkeley, California to an African American mother and a father of Caucasian and Filipino descent, Niko soaked up the rich cultures of both parents and was inuenced by the bohemian lifestyle that exists in the city. He was constantly surrounded by the artistic renderings of his mother who used their home bathroom as an art studio. His father engulfed his small home in music, poetry, Japanese anime and video games. Niko comments "I just emulated what I saw, whatever they were doing; I wanted to do it too." Niko’s journey continued as his family made the trek from Berkeley to the culturally rich city of San Francisco.
