Nikki Hornsby was born in CA but raised in Northern VA. Had a great education attending college & university while performing her music all year long working up & down East Coast and list of her paid performance found here: http://bit.ly/l4I2jn Nikki was offered financial backing for recording twice but turned those corporations down until she studied about such a change in her career. Returned to CA after college working performing music up & down West Coast and was again offered financial funding again so she looked into the recording business. Accepted another financial offer from small CA business credited in an agreement just to prove merit of her music. Nikki Hornsby accomplished this with a limited USA offline release and major support from Europe offline radio charting her music to win awards overseas while she worked full time performing in USA. Finally in 2004 accepting the challenge to record under her own direction 10 original songs but went to test market for other artists to release in USA. Accomplished in Europe and is licensing all her hundreds of songs to interested artists. As a Grammy voting member she continues to vote for the awards given to her piers. She still has hope that her hundreds of market tested (un recorded) songs of Pop, rock, a cepella, novelty tunes, to folk and Americana, will one day see studio time.
