(Translated from the band's Facebook page) Niil' is a power trio of Porto Alegre-RS founded by Icarus Fontoura in December 2009. They are influenced by Jimi Hendrix, Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Soundgarden, Nirvana, Bad Religion, Foo Fighters, Them Crooked Vultures, and more. With their first EP (Insomnia, released in December of 2010) the band came to perform at Poa and around, soon after playing in other states they focused on finishing their first album ( Niil', released in 2012). A year after they follow in their new formation (Cristo - Drums / Icarus - Guitar) and still perform often in the city of Poa and close cities, they also finish their second album ( Niil' - Labyrinth, released in 2016) within a few weeks.
