Starting in late 2010,Nightmare Castle began creating electronic-based noisescapes focusing mainly on feedback,prepared-guitar,and digital sounds. After two internet-only releases ("Psychpomp" & "Armageddon Blues") the focus changed to full-on HNW. Gone were the musical instruments and amps and,in their place,heavily processed recordings of machinery,tools,and appliances were used to build lengthy,loud,unrelenting walls usually littered with samples taken from low-budget horror films.
