It doesn’t get better than this, right? But it did. Without even noticing, these 5 friends started something new, something awesome, something they had always dreamed about. They started the rest of their lives. They started Night at the Lake. The music took hold of them and after nearly a year of writing and recording, this is where it starts. And if you are ready for it, this is where you become a part of Night at the Lake… Night at the Lake officially starts at the very first day in 2012. However, their first gig took place in Hungary at the VOLT festival in the summer of 2011. It caused a lot of publicity, due to the timing of their concert, as the organizers asked the band to play when the Hungarian president arrived at the festival area. This international ‘prelude’ is just the beginning of their story. In the meantime they have earned some airplay at a Dutch radiostation named Radio538, several regional radiostations such as WeertFM & MaastrichtFM and the band has been selected for Nu of Nooit, a band-contest for the Pinkpop festival.
