Night Pilot is a rock band from Pullman, Wa. It was formed when members Ryan Sprute(drums), Sam Helmer(bass/backup vocals), and Brenden Niedermeyer(guitar/backup vocals) decided to join together as a seperate group after playing together is Washington State University's performance group "Crimson Revue". Later another member of the Revue, Bryan Janzing, joined the group, taking the position of lead vocals, and keyboards. All four members study music in some form at Washington State University. The band prides themselves on their very eclectic sound that ranges from influences like the Foo Fighters and Rage Against the Machine, to 311, Jimi Hendrix, and Jason Mraz.
