about

"There are multiple artists that perform under the name 'Nie' or 'NIE' 1. A band/ artist from Poland 2. A dark wave artist based in Germany 1. Nie is an electro artist from Poland. 2. NIE is a German/ English solo project. His music is driven by influences from dark wave, post punk and hyperpop, containing monotonous synthesizer basslines, guitars that are drowned in reverb and a heavy processed voice with the use of autotune to manipulate it like a kind of an instrument. Lyricwise the artist is influenced by genres like: midwest emo, post punk and emo rap. The first musical works that can be found on the artist´s Spotify are his lo-fi beats that already show his love to the guitar. But after two years of trying to find his own sound it seems that NIE finally discovered it. On the 2nd of April he announced his first EP "Apatia" which is said to incorporate elements of dark wave, post punk and hyperpop. "Apatia" is set to release on the 6th of May everywhere.
