Nicostrauss is the name under which Nicola Bortone releases a series of Celtic- and epic-inspired music, mainly instrumental and ambient. Nicostrauss (Nicola Bortone) began releasing ethnic, Celtic music with a vaguely medieval flavor in 2019 with his debut album Aurora Lucis. Later, driven by the need to give more concrete content to the music he composed, he decided to draw inspiration from Tolkien's timeless trilogy “The Lord of the Rings.” This led to the release of his subsequent albums.
