After nearly 4 million MySpace plays, being the No.1 group on the MySpace charts with no official single & winning the Best UK Unsigned Artist prize, Nicole Jane finally release their debut single ‘Is It Me’ on 23rd November. The vocal trio consists of brothers Jace B Carreira, Alfie-J Carreira & Dieu Carreira. Raised in London & officially forming as a musical collective in 2006, Nicole Jane capped off their first year together by winning the best the Official UK Unsigned Contest. Not a group to rest on what was a fantastic achievement; NJ spent 2007 touring across the UK supporting the likes of Lemar, Timbaland, Ne-Yo & Lily Allen on their tours. After causing mass hysteria at their shows, Nicole Jane’s show stealing reputation had reached fever pitch across Europe where they spent the majority of 2008 touring going from supporting headline acts to being the headline act. While comparisons with JLS are inevitable, Nicole Jane are comfortable in their own lane where they write & produce their own material. That they have reached these achievements independently is nothing short of outstanding.
