In early 2007, Montréal-based experimental music artist Nicolas Bernier (Ekumen, No Type) teamed up with folk-guitarist Simon Trottier for an expanded four-track EP entitled "Objet Abandonné de Mer". The four songs are made of improvisations, field-recordings and a load of electronic post-production. One hand on beautiful folky melodies, other one on electro-acoustic glitches and noise, Bernier & Trottier manage to fuse sound-design and songwriting. "Objet Abandonné de Mer" was released on CDr and as a free MP3-download at German Netlabel 12rec. in September 2007.
