There are at least three artists with this name. 1) An up-and-coming singer and songwriter, Nicolai is no stranger to the music scene. A seasoned background vocalist for some of the biggest names in the Jamaican music industry, she released her independently-produced Christian CD, 'Journey', to critical acclaim in 2001. Nicolai is currently writing and recording songs in anticipation of her re-emergence as a solo artist in 2008. "I've gone through major life-changing events since my debut album," she asserts. "I want to capture my experiences and the lessons I'm learning in songs that are authentic - you know, REAL - and inspirational. Not preachy - some of my songs don't mention 'Jesus', yuh nuh - but definitely reflecting my Christian world view, no matter what the topic." In the meantime, he can be seen on stage as a vocalist for living legend Beres Hammond. She also continues her work as a session singer for recording projects and radio and tv jingles.
