Nick Piccone is many things in many incarnations in many personalities. It’s often difficult for him to keep one idea straight before another smashes it to bits. Thats what makes the soulful croon and classic acoustic sound he brings so refreshing. A product of small town life in America and musically passionate parents Nick tries to make everything he can as great as he can for people to listen to. Sometimes it may not even be music it might just be random sound but he wants it to be an adventure for the listener. His album cuts are taking a very avant guard atmospheric turn but he keeps things classic live. The stripped down live sets are reminiscent of the modern "guitar guys" like Jack Johnson, John Mayer or Jason Mraz, but the soulful edge he sweeps it all down with truly sets him apart from the rest. Currently the sole member of R&B project Burns To The Soul, and the former bass player for Geneva, OH band Uptight Sugar Nick also boasts the accolades of having fronted Edinboro, PA punk group Vrede Hemel and the long since disbanded Decoys out of Olean, NY. Throughout all of the movement from one genre to the next one thing stays the same: the creativity and the passion.
