Nick Gatto is a pianist from Norristown, PA. While he devotes much of his time to the study of jazz, he has been influenced by virtually every genre. In the summer of 2009, he was the ensemble pianist for Stagecrafters Theatre's production of Schwartz and Tebelak's musical Godspell. On Tuesday nights, he performs jazz standards at Shannondell in Eagleville, PA. His first album, Exploding Head Syndrome, is an exploration of the art of free improvisation on piano. Currently, he is working on his second album, a compilation of original songs for voice and piano.
