Never Surrender is the name of at least two acts. 1) A hardcore/gabber producer from the Netherlands. 2) A punk rock band. 1) Never Surrender, real name Ramon Robbemont, is a hardcore DJ/producer from the Netherlands. Growing up in a musical family, Ramon not only holds over ten years of experience with playing bass guitar and piano, but he also completed a four year degree at a highly-acclaimed music school. Known for his previous aliases The Beatkrusher and Shadowfact, Never Surrender was launched in 2018 with a sole mission to unveil a fresh and innovative edge to modern Hardcore. 2) Adepts of the East Coast straight-edge scene need no introduction to Porcell, former guitarist for the legendary Youth of Today, leader of Never Surrender, and head honcho at the newly formed Fight Fire With Fire label. Maturity can do interesting things to a punk rocker, especially one of the straight-edge persuasion: Porcell still believes in the Credo of the Scene and preaches it proudly, but his conversion to Krishna consciousness and his recent status as father of a small child have had something of a deepening influence on his lyrical outlook.
