Never Say Surrender has released a full length album entitled 'I'll Write To You In Better Days' through DIYbandits. Never Say Surrender is the side project of Ben Flippo (Ben and Christian). In a time when punk kids playing acoustic instruments seems to be a rather common occurrence [Never Say Surrender] stands out amongst the norm. Hailing from Nashville, TN. [Never Say Surrender] serves up a wonderful album of anarchist folk punk. Lyrically you get political & social songs, tender songs dealing with longing & struggle and some story telling as well. Musically, [Never Say Surrender] is often more folk than punk and is rather refreshing. After listening to the album we were left wondering if [Never Say Surrender] ever shared a room with Bob Dylan in a punk house that was haunted by the ghost of Woody Guthrie. This is one of the best DIY folk punk albums we heard in a while! -DIYbandits Never Say Surrender has since joined up with Jason The Drifter and now plays as Barefoot Surrender.
