Netherfriends isn’t like any other musician today. He opted, instead, to become perhaps the most prolific artist of all time, releasing over 200 albums since 2015. Savant musician and world-renowned pothead Netherfriends (aka Shawn Rosenblatt) makes all his money from Spotify streams. He has over a hundred songs with +100,000 listens, and many with millions. His most-viral songs include Uptown Boys, Don’t Be A Fuck Boy, Weed Queen, and I’m Having Too Much Sex Blues, among many others. In 2016, Netherfriends released an album every month. In 2017, he released two every month. In 2019, he released an album every week, and according to him, the most challenging part was ensuring the quality of his weekly album-release party. His album topics are specific, due to their numerosity. They include titles such as Weed, Fabric, Songs For Bees, How to Build a House, I Need a Lawyer (for when he needed a lawyer), and, of course, Kids Trap.
