Neshanic was the primary solo project of Rob Stewart and was located out of Neshanic Station, New Jersey. Neshanic's music is often sweeping, choral, atmospheric, and enigmatic, and deals in an indiscriminate number of genres. The project's lyrics deal with a vast array of deeply emotional themes including unrequited love, personal torment, and suicide, though many songs deal with lighter, often comical material. Since finishing with the project, Stewart has moved on to helm another solo recording venture called June Herbstwahren.
