Nervous Young Men was an American indie rock project of Will Toledo, prior to beginning Car Seat Headrest. Toledo would release 5 albums as Nervous Young Men, debuting with The Bell Jar in 2008, and concluding with the self titled Nervous Young Men in 2010 before switching to his current project and band Car Seat Headrest that summer. Toledo would later rework several songs from this project into the Car Seat Headrest albums Nervous Young Man and Disjecta Membra, the former being a tribute and reference to Nervous Young Men.
