Several artists have released recordings under the name of Neptunus. One of them is one of the latest additions to the Swedish rock scene, forming in late 2008. Blending the heavy riffing of Tony Iommi with epic and haunting acoustic passages, Neptunus has a distinct 70s hard rock sound with a slight psychedelic/folk touch.
