From behind the blue doors of Stor-ette Business Park, the inbred Tampa scene shits out another act receiving the old "ex-members" this and "Sonic Youth" that, from the dull and tepid hangers-on. Inspired by the decrepit quality of local musical offerings, the sweltering heat, boredom-induced drugging and some (possibly) familiar sounds, Neon Blud emerged as a three-piece in 2009, releasing an abrupt but inspiring demo tape (Whipps), then traveling up the coast and capturing the hearts and feigned interest of many.
