Monty Biggins - Synthy Sounds. Warbly...distracted. Earthling residing in Canada. Enjoys music and scotch. Cam Bhodia - Guitilating. The Ontarian Aquarian. Urban gardens for all. Frankie G - Beat Machine, Dr. Subtle, Mr. Canada, our resident drummer from France. So basically Biggins met Frankie in Whistler BC. Frankie asked Biggins to play in a band with him and this guy Cam along with this singer, Russ. They were called "The Black Roses." Frankie and Biggins shared interest in electronic music, among many other genres. Biggins showed Frankie his project "Ferrets In Bathtubs", and the last concept album he'd done on it called "Facial Poney". The idea, a live electro act. Facial Poney was a solo act that Biggins performed during the Vancouver Olympics in a few of the venues in the downtown area. There had once been talk of a duo with a former band mate "Ryan Townsend". Ryan is a drummer and Saxophone player out of Chilliwack BC. They were highschool friends and band mates. The two went their separate ways in 2010. The name "Neon Beige" is credited to Ryan Townsend. Biggins always felt that Facial Poney should've been a duo act. When Frankie showed interest in developing a new version of Facial Poney, Neon Beige came to life. After a few shows, mostly live jams with sampled interludes, they brought Cam into the mix to broaden the texturing options in their compositions.
