An unconventional mix, which juxtaposes the consumerism-based inspiration of vaporwave/synthwave with the lack of it based on the communist regime during the band's childhood. The duo strives to reach new areas in Albanian underground music previously untouched, like the synthwave scene. The name Nena Parti itself means “Mother Party”, which is what the people used to call the party in power during the communist regime. Of course that the imagery used, along with the name and concept is sarcastic and criticises the period, strives to create a healthy conversation about the country’s past and how we should come to terms with it be it good or bad. Their main influences range from classic bands like Pink Floyd, David Bowie to more modern ones like Radiohead, Daft Punk and even some rap influences like Kanye West, Kid Cudi.
