Active from 2016 to 2020, Nemsis was an indie rock band from Haarlem, The Netherlands.They won all the Rob Acda Award in Haarlem in 2018 and released their debut single 'Light A Candle' in October 2018, followed by an EP in June 2019 (Sugar, Why So Bitter?). That was it. Nemsis quietly drifted apart during the Covid-19 pandemic. Personnel: Abir Hamam (vocals), Bob Schrama (guitar, keys), Tom Radsma (bass) and Lotte van der Merwe (drums). Post-Covid (and post-Nemsis) Hamam and Radsma started Hiqpy in Amsterdam. Radsma also performs bass duty in Cloud Cafe.
