Nem-S-Iss is the former stage name of Kevin Smith who now performs under the alias of K-Fresh. He is a native of Toronto, Canada, who was inspired by jazz, blues, reggae, calypso, and R&B while he was growing up and now works closely with the Soundsmith Production team. He has generated four street albums and three successfully received mix-tapes. His 8th independent release, the "R.A.P.P" album. is set to be released on December 2012. The follow up EP, RADIOGENIC, is also in the works but has no permanent release date set. Smith also started his own independent group/label, Real Life on Wax Music (R-Low Music), and is noted for discovering Baby Ghryme, the newest artist under the label.
