Nelo Johann is a brazilian singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentist, born in Estrela, a country town of southernmost state of Brazil. He’s 27 years old and put out 13 home albums and 6 EPs since 2001. In 2009 wrote and performed the soundtrack of Esmir Filho’s long-lenght movie “The Famous and The Dead” (festivals: Berlin, Locarno, Valdívia, Rio de Janeiro, Havana and others). He is currently working on project called “On the Go”, a work-in-progress album. the songs are released one by one as they’re finished. Nelo is also an ethnologist and doesn’t give a damn about it.
