After college Plunky Nkabinde migrated to San Francisco and Ken Shabala followed. In 1969 they met Lon Moshe, a vibraphonist from Chicago and joined an African avant-garde group called Ndikho and the Natives, led by South African pianist/percussionist, Ndikho Xaba. The group recorded one LP: "Ndikho Xaba And The Natives". User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
