Nazir Ebo is a boundary-pushing drummer, composer, and bandleader from Philadelphia, PA. A self-taught prodigy from a musical family, Ebo has toured worldwide as part of the Joshua Redman quartet, earning acclaim for his electrifying performances. As a drummer and classically trained bassist, Ebo’s work reflects a profound technical foundation that constantly pushes the boundaries of jazz. Ebo’s debut album ‘Beyond” is a culmination of years of musical exploration and collaboration, centered around an improvisational electric band he brought to life in 2021 with guitarist Simon Martinez and bassist Tone Whitfield and new additions Tim Watson and Sanche Ramirez.
