There are at least three artists named Nava: 1. NAVA, Milan-based project led by Nava Golchini. 2. NAVA, a post-hardcore band from Phoenix, AZ. 3. Nava, alias of Puerto Rican singer-songwriter Rodolfo Barrera. 1) NAVA is a Milan, Italy-based project led by Iranian singer-songwriter Nava Golchini, joined by Francesco Fugazza, Marco Fugazza, and Elia Pastori. They mix Golchini's Persian influences with experimental electronic arrangements. After signing to Nettwerk Records, the project's debut EP Flesh was released in May 2019. The follow-up EP Sarabe is scheduled for June 2020. 2) NAVA is a post-hardcore band started in 2012 by Chad Crawford (guitars, ex-Scary Kids Scaring Kids) and Hiram Hernandez (vocals, guitars), both previously of Curses. Later the two were joined by Tyler Brown (drums) and Chris Hedger (bass guitar). Their first single "Something Better" was released on October 19, 2012.
