natsq (Natalia Markowska) started her musical experimentation as a teenager, playing drums in the basement of an old abandoned house with a group of friends to the sounds of punk rock. By the time natsq finished high school, she began to experiment with electronics and samples expanding on her background as a drummer. Currently, natsq's electronic-ambient sounds convey a mesmerizing nature that inspires a quiet, chillout mood among listeners. natsq's early influences included Ninja Tune artists like Skalpel, Bonobo, The Cinematic Orchestra and others, as well as listening to film music, especially John Hammer in Cocaine Cowboys, or Lucky People Center and many more. More recently Lali Puna, Yagya, Burial, a combination of jazz and Finnish folk music inspired natsq to begin working on her music which maneuvers between electronic, experimental and ambient.
