There are at least two different bands called Native Sun. 1. Native Sun is a garage / punk band from New York, NY, United States. Blending the raw energy of early punk and garage rock, they have been releasing singles and EPs since 2017. Personnel: Danny Gomez (vocals, guitar), Justin Barry (bass, vocals), Jack Hiltabidle (guitar), Nicolas Espinosa (drums). 2. Native Sun is a London, United Kingdom-based duo consisting of bilingual rapper Mohammed Yahya, born in Mozambique, and singer-song writer Sarina Leah born in London, with Caribbean roots. Joining forces in 2010 Native Sun was born fusing hip hop and African rhythms with the aim of promoting a positive message. Native Sun's sweet melodies fuse addictive head bouncing hip hop undertones, conscious bilingual lyrics and catchy hooks perfect for a climate in need of an uplifting message.
