Artist
Nathan Joseph Subbiondo (born July 14, 2004 in Los Angeles, California), known professionally as Nate Sib, is a 21-year-old American pop singer, songwriter, and producer. He is known for merging pop melodies with rap and electronic influences, crafting songs that are both catchy and experimental. Nate Sib’s soulful vocal style has drawn comparisons to Justin Bieber. He grew up in a musical family—his father, Joe Sib, was the frontman of the punk band Wax—which exposed him to music from a young age. Nate began playing piano early and performed an original song at a high school event in 2018, though he was initially hesitant to release music. That changed when his friend and collaborator 2hollis urged him to start recording at age 17. Their first track together, “Why Can’t You See,” landed on the NHL 24 soundtrack and helped kickstart Nate’s career. In 2024, he released his first EP for you, followed by standout singles like “famous,” “hold on,” and “take it slow. Later that year he joined 2hollis on tour as an opening act. By 2025, he had signed with Republic Records and released his EP For Us — a bold, glitchy EP influenced by SOPHIE and Frank Ocean. Known for distorted pop hooks and sharp melodies, nate sib is quickly emerging as one of alt-pop’s most inventive new voices.
