Natasha & Charlene are an Maltese Pop-Duo made up of the sisters Natasha and Charlene Grima. They are internationaly famous for their recurring participations at the Malta Song for Europe, the national preselection for the Maltese Eurovision Song Contest-entry, which is organised by the broadcaster 'Public Broadcasting Services' (PBS). Their first attempt was back in 1999 and the last in 2009, where their two entries - called "Alchemy" and "King" - couldn't get through to the second stage of MSfE. In 2007 they were invited by a Bulgarian composer to participate in Bulgaria's preselection in that year, but "Open Your Eyes" didn't survive the semifinal stage. The sister duo also participated in other international festivals, often with success. In 2004 they won the prize for "Best Performance" and "Best Song" (for "Sejjahtli Sejjahtlek") at Amberstar Festival, held in Latvia's capital Riga. They are familiar faces in Malta's Entertainment industry, which is proven by Appearances in Hotels, Casinos, TV shows and even at private weddings.
