Artist
Natasa Paulberg is an Australian/Irish composer, performer and conductor who has written music for the concert hall, film, gaming and advertising. She is lead composer for the Haunted Planet Studios gaming company and was winner of the Contemporary Music Centre’s 2012 Ad Astra Composition Competition, as well as receiving the 2013 Fulbright scholarship for composition, where she attended UCLA’s esteemed Film Scoring Program in Los Angeles. She currently lectures on the MA in Film Scoring & Visual Media at Pulse College at Windmill Lane Recording Studios in Ireland. Natasa has worked on Hollywood projects with composers Garry Schyman (known for BioShock, Dante's Inferno) and Christopher Young (known for Spiderman 3, Drag Me to Hell) and with orchestrator Peter Bateman (Hunger Games, Avengers). She has also written music for films and concert commissions with performances at The National Concert Hall, Samuel Beckett Theater, Cake Contemporary Centre, Centre for Creative Practices and Smock Alley Theatre with various ensembles including orchestral, choral and electronic. Her works have been performed by Los Angeles studio musicians and at many exhibitions and festivals worldwide including the York New Music Festival (UK), New Music Dublin Festival (IRL) and in Washington DC as part of the Capital Irish Film Festival.
