Artist
Natalie Toro is a Broadway theatrical actress. She is perhaps best known for originating the role of Madame DeFarge in the 2008 Broadway mega-flop "A Tale of Two Cities," by Jill Santoriello. Many critics prasied Toro's performance and added that she had perhaps the best song of the piece ("Out of Sight, Out of Mind"). Toro is also best known for her stint as Eva Peron in the 20th Anniversary (and supposed Broadway return which never made it) tour of EVITA, for which she received huge acclaim. Toro was the first American to star as Eponine in Les Miserables, originated roles in Alan Menken's A Christmas Carol and also starred opposite Sebastian Bach (of Skid Row) in the national tour of Jesus Christ Superstar as Mary Magdalene.
