Natalie Angiuli is a an independent singer/songwriter from New York City. She currently attends college in Los Angeles at the University of Southern California, where she double majors in theatre and music. Her debut album, titled "sometimes. always. never." was primarily recorded in a small apartment on the upper west side of Manhattan, where it was produced by herself and recording-extraordinaire Andrew Futral of The Age of Rockets (myspace.com/theageofrockets). The album is currently in post-production with mixing/mastering by Dan Romer (Jenny Owen Youngs, Ingrid Michaelson, Ian Axel). Angiuli wears the cap of a multi-instrumentalist, playing the piano, ukulele, guitar, glockenspiel, harmonium, Rhodes, and singing on her debut album, which features 8 original songs. Due to an incident involving a tendency to follow her own inconsistent tempos, she has been permanently banned from the tambourine in the studio. She also wrote several string arrangements for the album, having briefly studied the violin before figuratively smashing several innocent fiddles with her mind at the end of a frustrating practice session in the summer of 2004. Natalie performs regularly in the NYC and LA areas, frequenting venues such as The Bitter End, Room 5, Knitting Factory, and Don Hills. She recently performed at USC's Springfest in April 2010, an annual festival headlined in 2010 by infamously auto-tuned rapper T-Pain.
