During that time span the band has amassed a legion of rabid old school and second generation fans, which have propelled Narcoleptic Youth to headlining status. Musically and vocally, the band sits squarely between The Damned and the Dead Kennedy’s, but the show and the songs are spectacularly original. Narcoleptic Youth have established a long an well deserved live reputation, having shared the stage with the likes of FEAR, The Adicts, The Business, Dropkick Murphys, Peter and the Test Tube Babies, Agent Orange, D.I., The Misfits, Angry Samoans, UK SUBS, Vice Squad, Youth Brigade, TSOL, The Adolescents, and their biggest show to date in front of over 5,000 people with The Subhumans! Still in high school and stuck in Southern California’s Inland Empire (about an hour from Orange County and two hours from L.A.), Narcoleptic Youth was born from sheer boredom and frustration about various issues surrounding their life. From the start, the band didn’t care. They didn’t care about credibility, didn’t care about lack of talent, didn’t care about criticism and they sure as hell didn’t care about impressing anyone.
