Narcisa Suciu is a Romanian singer born in Baia Mare on 27 January, 1975. She graduated the ‘Mihai Eminescu’ college in Baia Mare, the English-French profile. Between 1992 and 1995 she takes courses in the ‘Music-Hall’ University (Ecological University Of Bucharest). She is a convinced vegetarian and she has a daughter named Daria. She is very found of charitable events, trying to help especially the children, hereby she helped children hospitals and orphanage houses. She supports the activity of gifted children (monitored with the help of the Henry Coanda Foundation). For this purpose, in 1997 she donated for a bidding her ‘Cerbul de Aur’ prize! :) She has won several musical prices: - The ‘Ursuleţul de Aur’ Trofee, Baia Mare, 1991; - The ‘Floare de Colţ’ Trophee, Cluj-Napoca, 1992; - 1st price in the Iaşi and Alexandria ‘Pop Music Festivals’ competition, 1995; - 3rd place in the ‘Cerbul de Aur’, Braşov, 1997; - 2nd place at The International Festival of Zrenjanin (Iugoslavia); - The ‘Festivalul Cântecului de Dragoste’ Trophee, 2002; - The Best Female Voice, Varna 2003. In 1995 she records her first song ‘Câmpuri Aurii’; In 1996 she signes a contract with Fundaţia Culturală Phoenix. On the 22th of june 1997 she has a concert with Joan Baez, in Romania. 27 ianuarie 1998 she has a theatre show with the big romanian actress Leopoldina Bălănuţă (Teatrul Mic). In sep-oct 2002 she had a tour in Canada, with artists like Paula Seling, Silvia Ştefănescu, Victor Rebengiu
