There are at least five bands with the name Namtar: 1) A black metal band from Ukraine. 2) Solo project of János Juhász (Gort, Thy Catafalque) 3) A black metal band from France. 3) A black metal band from Spain. 3) A death/black metal band from Poland. On the Ukrainian black metal band: Formed in 2003 by Maksym Dubovenko (Dead Christ Cult, Life Denial), their first demo called Не от мира сего was released, followed by three full-lengths, Распятый эгоизм and Наравне с жизнью in 2004, and Bloody Chunks of Christ in 2005. A split with Dead Christ Cult called In Hell... Through Pain... And Death was also released in 2005. János Juhász (Gort, Thy Catafalque) released his demo called Wake Me Up From My Storm under this name. On the French black metal band: In 1999 they released their first and only demo self-produced called The Apocalypse. The demo had this name because the record has been ended the day of the 1999 eclipse, day of a missed end of the world. The band split up a year later because of problems with the drummer and the departure of the main guitarist Daemon.
