Naked Artz - Legendary Japanese Hip Hop Crew In 1990, two MCs by the name of Mili and K-On formed a group in Nagoya, Japan under the name "Skips". In 1994, with the additional member of DJ Tonk, they formed the crew "Naked Artz". Soon after, they introduced DJ Sas into the group and became active on the young and growing Japanese Hip-Hop scene. In 1995, a year known as the golden year for Japanese Hip-Hop, Naked Artz was featured on the classic Japanse Hip-Hop compilation "ˆ«–¼ (Akumyou)" with their first joint called "Naked Artz". A month later, they were featured on the EP compilation "Hey! Young World" with their second joint "Take It Easy". In 1996, Naked Artz made a re-appearance on the second part of the Akumyou compilation "‘±Eˆ«–¼ (Zoku Akumyou)" with a track entitled "–² (Yume)". In the same year, Naked Artz finally released their first EP under their own name titled "Skip 2 The Roots". They also released a second EP called "Z“§ (Shintou)", which shares the same title as their future album that would release the following year. In 1997, Naked Artz released their first full solo album called "Z“§-Penetration". The same year, DJ Kiyo remixed the track "'95" from their album and was released as an EP cut under the name "'95 Remix". In 1998, Naked Artz released their final EP called "‹“ƒ '98 (Kyotou '98)", which featured a similarly album anticipated hip-hop group "ƒ‰ƒbƒp‰äƒŠƒ„ (Rappagariya)".
