Nahemoth is an Occult Black Metal band from Florida, created in the early months of 2010 as an expression of, and aid to, the journey of spiritual transcendence through the Qliphotic Tree of Da'ath. It is a journey beyond the borders of this world, towards Choronzon's abyss and the embrace of the Mother Dragon. "Nahemoth" is the Speaker, the Unholy Matron and the Gate to the Sitra Ahra. She whispers to the chosen from the shadows, and calls them to the unknown, where nothing that is Holy or Righteous dares to tred. It is for this reason that this project is named "Nahemoth", for this project began purely as the personal spiritual path of one man known as Qayin. Spurred by the whispers of Nahemoth, and the brilliant light of the Black Flame, the expression of spirituality naturally evolved and became something much more, something unable to be hidden in the dark shadows of the daytime hours. The first manifestation in 2008 was a solo project known as The Necronomicon, focusing on the paradox and contradictory nature of the divine and spiritual insanity. As with the personal path of the artist, the art soon evolved into something more. In 2010, the name of the project was changed to Nahemoth, in dedication to the Unholy Matron that first spurred Qayin to be sworn to the immortal darkness, and the project was restructured to eventually become a moving ritual of invocation to the ancient horrors that lie beyond.
