Nación Ekeko is born from travels, from the encounter with Latin American characters, from collected songs and recitals. A great musical journey that crosses the open veins of Latin America from one end to the other. The Ekeko is Diego Pérez, and so are his instruments, which he combines one by one, song by song: Sonolumas (wireless controller designed by Diego Pérez), Venezuelan cuatro, keyboard, guitar, Andean winds and programming, guided by an innate capacity for improvisation and composition in real time. A magical and unmissable show! The fusion of Andean, Latin and African sounds with house, dub and technology at the service of improvisation make the music of Nación Ekeko a unique sonic journey. Nación Ekeko was born from the encounter with Latin American characters, songs and recitals. This is Diego Pérez's solo project that was born in 2015, and has already toured China, Europe and Latin America. A musical connection that unites ancestral stories with new technologies and makes dance a parallel universe in which all Latinos together.
