NTREK is a Belgian hiphop formation originating from West Flemish cities Roeselare and Kortrijk, and one of many artists who followed 't Hof van Commerce in their footsteps, by rapping in their own West Flemish dialect, rather than English. Band members are Cfour (Dieter Meeuws), Baadasssss (Roeland Horré), LjiPe TruKN (beats) and DJ Mister Brown (Bruno Houyet). In 2012 they released their debut EP Mjir dan nen track ('More than a track'), available as a free free download on their Bandcamp page, which features R.S.L., a hommage to their home city Roeselare and became the most popular track on the EP. Although this release was well-received, things got very quiet around the band for the next six years. Early 2018, they released the single nieuwe wind ('new wind') (featuring JtotheC). In November 2018, they released another single, Felip, featuring Brihang and JtotheC (and a small cameo of Flip Kowlier from 't Hof van Commerce). For the track Heel veel West-Vlamse rappers ('A lot of West Flemish rappers'), released in December 2018, NTREK brought together 16 rappers from West Flanders; Morsdood, MC Equal, Rijm Tekkie Spans Man, No Exp., plukketuffer, Rah SA, Rookwalm, Vorre, WALTER EGO, Ja Zon, Samoerai, Robby Vk, Brihang and Connar. Late November 2018, their second album Calping was finally released on Fake Records. NTREK had worked on the album for four years. In and 'end-of-the-year' poll among musicians selected by Humo magazine, the album was voted the 10th best Bel
