The initial Netrina concept began back in 1996 when SDK (Kostas Skaltsas), Stereo Nova’s technical manager/founder and professor in DELTA (the Department of Musical Technology of the Institution of Education Training) started to work with Konstantinos Vita, executive music producer, technical supervisor and director of S7 Records. Kostis Giannikopoulos (Headroom studio productions) then joined in order to add his skills in composition, instrumentation and keys while Konstantinos Vita stayed in charge of sound recording and sound design. Since 1997, Netrina has released many live sets featuring some of the most distinguished versions of tracks by Faithless, Konstantino Vita, DJ MIKELE, AMXarokopou and MAxh Lamar. In 2000 Netrina released the single “De. De.”, from which the Greek TV show «Taratsa» of ET3 has borrowed the music and made its signature sound. Netrina’s members have given interviews in Greek TV programs such as MEGA, ALPHA, ALTER and POLIS and they have appeared in the news many times. In November 2007, Netrina released a second album - Waiting Room -before going on to unleash four parallel productions: E.Q.’s Emotional Intelligence, Veggie’s Modern Living, Gargadua’s Waveform and the Djs mix it CD. Recently, Netrina’s eponymous debut record has been re-released as a double album, the 2nd CD of which is a free bonus gift featuring Konstantinos Bita from The Edge of the World.
