Negatifa is a powerviolence/hardcore punk band from Jakarta, Indonesia, formed in 2024. The band consists of well-known members from the Indonesian underground scene: vocalist Arian13 (Seringai), bassist Dimas Tirta Arwana (Masakre), guitarist Darma Respati Putra (Stride), and drummer Indrawan Juniarsyah (Cryptical Death). Negatifa emerged as an explosive project with a raw, intense, and aggressive sound, delivering fast, brutal, and short songs, while maintaining a strong social message. Their music tackles themes of struggle, equality, and safe spaces, particularly for women within the hardcore music scene. Their debut album, self-titled (Negatifa), released in May 2025, packs a punch with a runtime of just 11 minutes and 11 tracks, showcasing their power violence roots fused with hardcore energy. The album addresses critical social issues in Indonesia, with tracks like “Unity/Ruang Aman” (Unity/Safe Space) highlighting the importance of creating safe spaces in communities, especially for women in music. With their debut, Negatifa has quickly caught the attention of hardcore fans and is continuing to make waves with their fierce live performances at underground events.
