Artist
N.W. DiMauro is an American musician, singer/songwriter, drummer, guitarist, & bassist from the North Shore of Boston. N.W. started producing and recording music around the age of 14, fooling around with friends on a school computer. Now 18, he writes and records in his spare time, experimenting with jazz, hip hop, indie rock, and electronic music. Having studied percussion for 8 years, he is mainly a drummer. Around the age of 16, he taught himself how to play the guitar and the bass and began composing rock music with very little knowledge of music theory or any of the instruments that he played. On New Year's day of 2010, he self-released his first full-length album entitled, "Oh, The Humanity!". It received positive reviews from his small, solid fan base (comprised of his school & church community). "Oh, The Humanity!" was recorded, performed & produced in its entirety by N.W. DiMauro alone in a two week span during a winter break from academia. N.W. DiMauro is influenced by 60's jazz, southern blues, folk rock, modern indie rock, modern christian/gospel music, and literature. On May 5th 2010 his second long awaited album "Build Me Up" was released to his school. This 15 track album featured a DJ Binmaker House remix of his song "Dancin' Shoes".
