1. N.U.M.B., also known as New Ultra Majority Blackout, or Now U May Believe, was a nu metal band from Shreveport, Louisiana. While the band originally formed circa 1998, the final lineup formed in 2001 when the members met at a show in Taylortown. All members were born and raised in Shreveport, except for bassist Jon D. Plum, who was originally from Austin, Texas. The band's earliest material is a demo album titled Black, featuring 10 tracks, which was released in 1999. On July 5, 2002, the band released The Art Of Changing Silence in downtown Shreveport, which they considered to be their first actual album after releasing several demo albums. The band planned to release a compilation of some of their shows for a live CD sometime around 2003/2004, but it is unknown if this was ever released. Former members would later be in The Sunkissed Barrelabisca and Bisca Black. Vocalist Chris Hemingway is now in a solo rap project under the name Rocky Morningside. 2.
