"Minneapolis noise punks Näive Sense are one of the most aggressive acts to represent the Twin Cities in the last five years. Their November LP Art Failures is full of absolutely punishing vocals and menacing guitar harmonies that make the trans-fronted hardcore deconstructionists a confrontational listen. Though it might not seem like it at first listen, Näive Sense are an extremely calculated band. They've mastered the sub-two-minute song, distilling their discontent into edible chunks. They even have a song that, in a scant seven seconds, can set a PA system ablaze.
