Jermaine Dupri would later sign them to So So Def Records after hearing their song at Jibbs' party. In a DJ Vlad interview, Jermaine Dupri expressed the impact that "Big Dicks V" had on him when he first listened to it. He said, "God damn man, I thought I was the only one. I know what these niggas is goin' through. I-- I know what they feelin', they in pain, like me." before crying.
