2014 film from the hit show My Little Pony. This being a sequel to the 2013's Equestria Girls film. The film premiered in select theaters across US and Canada on September 27, 2014. Then broadcasted on Discovery Family. The plot follows as the mane 6 w/o Twilight Sparkle( Rainbow Dash, Applejack, Pinkie Pie, Fluttershy, and Rarity ) making a band called, " The Rainbooms " to participate in the school's upcoming musical showcase. Those 5 girls found out that the magic left over from Twilight's crown from the 2013 film has given them the ability to grow pony-like ears, tails, and wings when they play their instruments. Sunset Shimmer wants to give the people a better impression on her than the one she showed beforehand and gave a tour to Adagio Dazzle, Aria Blaze, and Sonta Dusk. Then informs them about the showcase, unaware that they're secretly sirens with power. These three calling their musical group, " the Dazzlings ". The trio performs a song and makes the showcase into a competition, being the battle of the bands. However Sunset and her friends are protected from their song / voice by their music.
